Professionally, I am currently a teacher of technology, including video production, at the Kihei Charter School in Kihei, HI. I worked as the Video and Music Teacher at the Chelsea School in Silver Spring, MD. Previous to that, I did videography work for The Gynecologic Oncology Group.
I was also a Screenwriting major and Narrative Video Production Minor at the University of the Arts, where I made two short films and created many smaller exercises. I also worked on independent features (ex: BTA) and other film projects including the National 48 Hour Film festival. In addition, I have shot weddings and concerts.
From these and other miscellaneous projects, I have an extensive knowledge of filmmaking/videography on both the technical and creative sides.
Please contact me if you have a need for professional video work in any aspect of video making: shooting, sound, writing, editing, etc., at breathingunderwater1@gmail.com.

BREATHING UNDERWATER: a selkie tale (2006)
This was my senior film at The University of the Arts.
I wrote, directed, produced, shot, and edited this film.
Description: A short film that contemporizes ancient Irish/Scottish folklore about selkies, which were believed to be humans that could become seals.
Ron Morgan is a normal high school senior with a caring mother and a supportive girlfriend. But one day during finals, Ron begins to neglect everything normal for strange cravings of water. Will Ron deny his true self for a comfortable life or will he hurt those he cares about to find the missing pieces?

NOVA SCOTIA (2007)
My father and I traveled across Nova Scotia, Canada from July 30 to August 7, 2007. I never intended to make a movie when we set out, but once I started shooting video with my cheap little point-and-shoot digital camera, I thought why not?
Most of the content is a collection of photos we took. This video inspired me to buy a real video camera for my travels.
